I have found Adafruit INA219 panel a bit narrow band for my power supply and MIG welder so decided to went for a wider band measurement unit and found INA226 better suite from TI product range.
I will do a very similar PCB with the new IC and an other version will also be made for external shunt resistor with bigger allowed current flow (for eg. MIG welders typically around 50 – 200A).
I have calculated and average MSRP for the panels and they will hopefully cost less than 20€ for each.
